Why we start this project?

Many of our customers were still relying on manual or traditional methods for inspections, shift tracking, and reporting. This highlighted a clear opportunity to introduce a modern digital solution to streamline operations, enhance visibility, and boost efficiency. The market demand was strong—and largely underserved.

My Epiroc is not just a platform for direct customers; our vision is to build an entire ecosystem of My Epiroc users. This includes dealers, customer administrators, global customers, and various roles across the customer organization.

My Role

Led the product development end-to-end—from research to launch—delivering 20+ key features across three digital products: My Epiroc, Fleet+, and Drill Tracker/Tunnel Tracker.

Team:

  • Product Manager

  • Product Owner

  • Scrum Master

  • Lead UX Designer (me)

  • Development Team (5–7 developers)

  • QA Tester

I also led and mentored a team of 3–5 designers in building a scalable design system, ensuring consistency and supporting the product’s long-term growth and evolution.

Business impact

Launched in 2024, My Epiroc secured 2,000+ business subscriptions in just three months, generating multi-million-dollar revenue.


Its success paved the way for new digital solutions like the Underground Management Tunnel Tracker, strengthening Epiroc’s position as a market leader.
